There’s something special about celebrating a wedding during a global pandemic. It’s changed so much in daily life. But not even a pandemic can stop our desire to connect with the people we love. After months of solitude, Jill and Jordan’s wedding day did just that. Their summer wedding, at The Farm at South Cove, brought together a close-knit group of friends and family (safely!) to celebrate love, even as the world changes around us.
“We loved the idea of a weekend away with close friends and family by the ocean. As a naval architect, Jordan spends a lot of time on the water and loves to sail, and Jillian’s parents live on the South Shore. Lunenburg just felt right to us, especially because it meant we could go sailing the night before the wedding.
Having a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere for our guests was also important to us. Our venue offered areas to have a bonfire, yurts and cottages for our guests, and combined rustic elegance with simplicity and coziness. It was perfect.”
“Their professionalism on the wedding day was great—they were ready to jump in on all the action and catch every special moment in a beautiful way. Having a COVID wedding meant a smaller guest list than we expected, but when we shared our photos, everyone said they felt like they’d been there with us.”
