I often suggest that clients choose a location that’s important to them for their engagement session. In Meagan and DJ’s case they went with the spot of their first date, Obladee Wine Bar! It was actually my first time there but I can see why it’s so popular!
For the rest of the shoot we wandered around the city, exploring the Halifax Public Gardens and then venturing to the waterfront. Thankfully they humoured my request to check out the top of a parking garage as well where we captured the city views at a slightly different angle.
It’s exciting to think that on this day next year they’ll be getting married at the Lord Nelson!
