This session happened to be the first time I worked with Allie & Sam. Actually, this was my first time working with influencers. Before I started meeting with Allie for work (she was helping me my social media) I didn’t even know that Instagram influencers were a thing. Allie suggested that we do a portrait session to help my reach on Instagram. I suggested we go to Duncan’s Cove and the rest was history.
The colours from this session really stood out to me. It was as though everything fit effortlessly into this beautiful earthy colour scheme. These two were also pros in front of the camera, making my job really easy.
A few other highlights from this session:
- Duncan’s Cove is one of my favourite places to visit, for hiking and photos.
- It was overcast and foggy. My favourite type of day, not just for shoots but all the time. Plus the weather complimented the colours.
- Allie and Sam were total troopers. Once we got down by the water, it was very cold but they held on long enough for me to get some shots.
Overall it was a really fun shoot and trade for that matter. Allie and Sam received some nice photos and I had a surge of new followers on Instagram every time they posted. Also this was one of the shoots that got me started off to a very good year!
