Molly and Kenny’s wedding kicked off my 2024 season, and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous (I always am for that first wedding of the year). But it turned out to be an amazing day — everything went off without a hitch and it was a blast from start to finish!
The wedding revealed in many ways just how tight-knit Molly and Kenny’s friend group is. The speeches shared a fun insight into how M&K started as friends, with everyone around them knowing they were destined to be together long before they themselves figured it out. It was a testament to how strong connections can lead to something truly special.
A little note on why M&K chose to have a Westin Nova Scotia wedding:
“We went with a hotel in Halifax as we have a lot of out of town guests attending, including ourselves, so it made logistical sense to host everything at the same venue. We met in school in Halifax as well, which was our draw to doing our wedding in the city. We toured some other venues outside of Halifax, but nothing felt “right” like being downtown in the city!”
Fun fact: M&K met at the Garrison Brewery so we had to incorporate it somehow!
