Winter in Antigonish

This past weekend I’ve spent some time with family in Antigonish.

Life has sent a whirlwind my way and it feels a bit to heavy right now.

I took a lot of photos this weekend and it seemed to be therapeutic for me. I looked at things around me differently, slowly taking in details and reminding myself to breathe. I’ve also been reading and writing a lot lately. Seems like different quotes and poems drift in and out of my head most of the day. This Mary Oliver poem comes to mind today.

it’s not the weight you carry

but how you carry it

books, bricks, grief

it’s all in the way you embrace it, balance it, carry it

when you cannot, and would not put it down
